About the Museum

2001 Treasurer's Report

During 2001, the Museum had an operating income of $64,429 and expenses of $57,421 for a net gain of $7,008.

Contributions from members of the Board of Directors ($27,000), community organizations ($8,600) and others ($3,518) were the largest source of income. Grants from the US National Park Service and non-profit foundations and organizations generated income of $19,567.

Expenses of $57,421 included exhibits and programs expenses of $2,679.

The ending balance of $32,713 will be carried into 2002.

As your treasurer, I believe these figures are accurate. An independent audit has not been done.
