We
Need You!
As
the Museum expands its exhibition plans and programs, we will require
more volunteers and docents. Volunteers take on various projects
which include research, project management, writing and editorial
work, newsletter production, special events, facilities maintenance,
and landscaping.
Docents
are assigned to staff the museum during its public hours. A docent
training program provides each volunteer with information about
the exhibits so they may assist visitors with their questions or
search for information.
It's
fun and you get to meet both local visitors and tourists, including
many cruising enthusiasts interestred in maritime history of the
Chesapeake Bay. If you would like to help, please email
or call Peg Wallace at 410 295-0104. We really need you!
Docents
are our most valuable asset!
