Annapolis Maritime Museum Presents Summer Concert Series

The Annapolis Maritime Museum's second annual Summer Concert Series will present Eastern Shore singer/songwriter Janie Meneely on Wednesday, July 10, from 12:15 to 1 p.m. at the Barge House. The concerts are free, but a donation will be requested for the museum's upcoming renovation of the former McNasby’s oyster packing house.

"This is a delightful setting for listening to music," says museum founder and board president Peg Wallace. "You can grab a crab cake at the Maritime Café at McNasby's and sit under the shade of the tree on the shore of the creek by while listening to all these wonderful musicians."

Here’s the line-up for upcoming concerts:

• July 24: Cliff Long sings traditional sea songs and ballads from Annapolis’ colonial era
• August 7: Joe Thompson
• August 21: Them Eastport Oyster Boys with their trademark Chesapeake cruisin’ tunes
