Holiday
Doll House returns to Annapolis Maritime Museum
This
delightful 4-foot-by-8-foot scale model doll house is one of our favorite
exhibits, back just in time for the holidays and decorated in the spirit
of the season.
Built
to display dolls and doll house furniture built at a nearby marina in
Eastport by the Richwood Toy Company in the 1950s, the exhibit is a
perennial favorite for children of all ages.
The
exhibit is adjacent to the Maritime Café at McNasbys, and
will be on display during the cafés regular business hours,
11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday and Friday, and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday
and Sunday. Visitors to the museum can enjoy steamed crabs, crab cakes,
hearty seasonal soups, or other items from the Maritime Cafés
take-out menu.
This
year's exhibit was marked with an opening reception on November 10,
1 - 4 p.m.
