Exhibition

Chesapeake Bay Images
by Marion E. Warren

Feb. 10 - April 8

The Annapolis Maritime Museum will present an exhibit of photographs by renowned Maryland photographer M.E. Warren at the Barge House in Eastport from Feb. 10 to April 8, 2002. The exhibit opened with a reception to honor Mr. Warren.

Born in 1920 and raised in Missouri, Marion moved to Annapolis with his wife, Mary, after World War II. Since then, he has published a number of books of his own work as well as historical prints he's collected over the years with his daughter, Mame.

This exhibition consists of 20 select black-and-white prints of his favorite subject, the Bay.* Marion has explored its waters and shores in his quest of elusive images, now preserved in his photographs. The recipient of many awards and recognition, Marion has been designated as a "Living State Treasure" by his many friends.
