The Eastport Walking Tour, developed by the Annapolis Maritime Museum in conjunction with the City of Annapolis; Four Rivers: The Heritage Area of Annapolis, London Town & South County; and the Chesapeake Bay Gateways Network will guide you in your exploration of this quaint, historic community located across the harbor from Annapolis proper.

We hope that you will walk the tour to fully take in the sites and sounds of this little maritime neighborhood as each site on the tour provides a peek into Eastport’s colorful past. But in the meantime, enjoy this narrative.
You’ll feel the ease of village life, catch glimpses of the ever-present waterfront, hear the sounds of maritime industry, and meet Eastporters who simply love living, playing, and working in this tiny jewel of the Chesapeake.
Each site has a designated number which corresponds to a track on the accompanying CD (see box, left) and to a link on this site. You don’t have to follow the tour in any particular order. After all, this is Eastport, so relax and wander. When you walk the tour, you'll find refreshment at our wonderful pubs, coffee shops, delis and restaurants. So, walk, gaze out over the water, watch the boats go by, and enjoy the view.
